✦ STEP 2: THE FIRST-SABBATH RULE & YEAR INITIATION ✦

Scope & Authority

This determination reconciles the ancient manuscripts of Genesis 1, 1 Enoch 72, and Jubilees 6 using the master forensic determinations of SC-CORRECTION K11 & K12.
The beginning of the year is not observed, guessed, or adjusted. It is counted according to an unmovable legal order.

1. What Prior Teachers Got Wrong

Earlier teachers and calendar students fell into three major errors:

  1. The Equinox = Day 1 Error: Claiming that the day of the Spring Equinox is Month 1, Day 1.
  2. The Equinox = Creation Day 4 Error: Claiming that the Equinox itself is Day 4.
  3. The Floating Sabbath Error: Forcing Month 1, Day 1 onto arbitrary civil weekdays, which breaks the unbroken 7-day weekly cycle and causes the Shabbat to float.

2. The 5-Step Initiation Sequence (Per K11 & K12)

    autonumber
participant T as Spring Tekufah (Equinox Marker)
participant D4 as Creation Day 4 (Appointment of Measurable Time)
participant W as Unbroken Weekly Cycle (Days 5 & 6)
participant S as First Weekly Sabbath (Day 7 Completion)
participant M1 as Month 1, Day 1 (Yom Rishon)

Note over T: 1. Heavenly Sign in the Sky (Not Counted)
T->>D4: 2. Next Day is Creation Day 4 (Lights Appointed)
    D4->>W: 3. Count proceeds: Day 4 -> Day 5 -> Day 6
W->>S: 4. Day 7 Completes (First Sabbath Seals Creation)
Note over S: Sabbath seals completion (Genesis 2:2-3)
S->>M1: 5. The DAY AFTER the Sabbath is Month 1, Day 1
Note over M1: Year Initiates on Yom Rishon (Day 1 of Week)

The Breakdown:

  1. The Spring Tekufah (Equinox) Occurs:
    • It is a heavenly sign and marker indicating the seasonal turning of the earth.
    • It is not a Creation Day, and it is not counted as a calendar day.
  2. Day 4 Appointment (Genesis 1:14–19):
    • The sun, moon, and stars—the rulers of measurable time—were appointed on Creation Day 4.
    • Therefore, measurable calendar time begins only on Day 4 (the day following the equinox marker).
  3. The Unbroken Weekly Count Proceeds:
    • Time moves forward in strict weekly succession: Day 4 ➔ Day 5 ➔ Day 6.
  4. The First Weekly Sabbath Completes the Cycle:
    • The seventh day arrives: Day 7 (Yom Shabbat).
    • Per Genesis 2:2–3, the Sabbath is the divine seal of rest and completion. A new year cannot begin before a completed Sabbath; otherwise, the weekly cycle would be severed.
  5. Month 1, Day 1 Initiates:
    • Month 1, Day 1 is the day immediately following the first weekly Sabbath after the Spring Tekufah.
    • Therefore, the annual calendar year always begins cleanly on Yom Rishon (Day 1 of the week)!

3. Structural Guarantees of the First-Sabbath Rule

By strictly applying the First-Sabbath Rule:

  • No Floating Sabbaths: The weekly Sabbath never floats, jumps, or resets.
  • Fixed Monthly Positions: The Sabbaths of Month 1 (and every month) are eternally locked on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th days of the month.
  • 52 Complete Weeks: The year contains exactly 364 days (), perfectly matching the scrolls of Enoch and Jubilees.
  • Zero Human Intercalation: Believers do not look for green barley in Jerusalem or watch for sliver moons. Heaven’s clock is self-contained and unassailable.

4. The Declaration of K12

The beginning of the year is not observed, guessed, or adjusted.

It is counted.

Month 1, Day 1 begins on the day immediately following
the first weekly Sabbath after the Spring Tekufah.

This rule preserves the Sabbath,
locks the year to 52 weeks,
and restores the order of time.

4. Courtroom Cross-Examination (Oral Defense Q&A)

Use these questions and answers to teach your family or defend the truth when questioned:

Question 1: “What is the First-Sabbath Rule (SC-Correction K11 & K12)?”

  • The Defense:
    1. The Spring Equinox (Tekufah) is a celestial sign marker, not counted as Day 1 of the calendar.
    2. Because the luminaries were established on Creation Day 4 (Genesis 1:14–19), Day 4 follows the equinox marker. We then count 3 days to the 7th-day Sabbath (Yom Shabbat).
    3. Month 1, Day 1 initiates on Yom Rishon (Day 1 of the week) immediately following that first creation Sabbath. This locks the entire year into an unbroken weekly cycle.

Question 2: “Why can’t the new year begin on the equinox day itself?”

  • The Defense:
    1. If the equinox was counted as Day 1 regardless of what day of the week it landed on, it would disrupt the 7-day creation week and cause the Sabbath to land on different days of the week each year.
    2. The Sabbath cycle established in Genesis 2:1–3 has never broken its 7-day rhythm since Creation.
    3. Starting Month 1, Day 1 on Yom Rishon following the first Sabbath preserves the mathematical perfection where every single Moed lands on its exact ordained weekday every year.

Question 3: “Why is a spring new year superior to a January 1 new year?”

  • The Defense:
    1. January 1 was chosen by Julius Caesar in 45 BAY to honor Janus, the two-headed Roman pagan god of doorways and beginnings, set in the dead of winter when nature is dormant and frozen.
    2. Yahuah’s new year begins in Aviv (Abib) in the spring, when the barley is in the ear, the trees bud, the birds sing, and life resurrects from the earth (Exodus 12:2, Deuteronomy 16:1).
