The Great Theological Breakthrough
Modern church doctrine teaches that demons are “fallen angels that were cast out of heaven with Lucifer.”
This is completely unscriptural.
Angels are spirit beings with celestial bodies who are currently bound in chains of darkness in Tartarus (Jude 1:6, 2 Kefa (Peter) 2:4).
Demons (Shedim) are the wandering, disembodied spirits of the dead hybrid giants (Nephilim)!
1. The Scriptural Forensic Proof (1 Enoch 15:8–12)
The set-apart prophet Enoch records the precise courtroom decree spoken by Yahuah regarding the death of the giants:
1 Chanok (Enoch) 15:8–12:
“And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.
Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men, and from the set-apart Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called.
As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.
And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.”

2. Why Demons Act the Way They Do
Understanding their origin explains every behavior of demons recorded in the Scriptures:

3. The Remnant’s Complete Authority Over Demons
Because demons are defeated, disembodied spirits under eternal sentence, they tremble in absolute terror before the King of kings:
Luqas (Luke) 10:19–20:
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
The Rules of Authority:
- The Name That Commands: They do not submit to generic church titles (“In the name of the Lord/God”). They submit exclusively to YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH.
- The Living Walk: Demons laugh at hypocrites who break the Torah (like the seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19). They must submit only when a believer is covered in the blood of Yahusha and walking in obedience to Yahuah’s commandments!
5. Courtroom Cross-Examination (Oral Defense Q&A)
Use these questions and answers to teach your family or defend the truth when questioned:
Question 1: “How do we know demons are not fallen angels?”
- The Defense:
- Angels have spiritual bodies: They can manifest visibly, speak, eat food (Genesis 18–19), and don’t need to possess human bodies.
- The rebel angels are currently imprisoned: 2 Kefa (Peter) 2:4 and Jude 1:6 state that the angels who sinned are reserved in everlasting chains under darkness in Tartarus until the great judgment day.
- Demons are disembodied and desperate: In Matthew 8:31, demons begged Yahusha to let them inhabit a herd of pigs because being outside a body causes them agony in arid places (Matthew 12:43).
Question 2: “Why are the spirits of the Nephilim cursed to wander the earth?”
- The Defense:
- In 1 Enoch 15:8–10, Yahuah pronounced that because the Nephilim were born of heavenly fathers (Watchers) and earthly mothers, their spirits belong neither fully to heaven nor to the natural grave.
- Their physical giant bodies drowned in the Flood, but their hybrid spiritual essence was released onto the earth as disembodied evil spirits until the final judgment.
Question 3: “Why did 10% of these evil spirits remain free under Mastema?”
- The Defense:
- In Jubilees 10:1–11, after the Flood, Noah prayed because the evil spirits were tormenting his grandchildren.
- Yahuah commanded the angels to bind all of them, but Mastema (Satan) pleaded that one-tenth (10%) remain free to test and tempt humanity.
- Yahuah permitted 10% to test man’s free-will obedience, while the remaining 90% were cast into the abyss.
